Hi, I'm Sara!
With a passion for helping young individuals navigate life's challenges, I am a compassionate and dedicated therapist specializing in working with children and adolescents. With 15 years of experience in the field, I use a child-centered approach that fosters trust and open communication, allowing each child to feel heard, understood, and supported.

As a mom to a busy toddler and a 22-year-old foster daughter, I know firsthand the joys and challenges of parenting and caregiving. I bring this insight into my sessions, helping children and their families feel validated and empowered to navigate their unique journeys with confidence, compassion, and practical strategies for everyday challenges.

Approach to Therapy
Having worked with children facing a variety of emotional, behavioural, and developmental challenges, I am well-versed in creating personalized therapeutic plans that focus on building emotional resilience, improving social skills, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. Through techniques such as play therapy, art therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, and cognitive-behavioural strategies, I help children and their families navigate difficult situations such as anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodiversity, and family dynamics.
Believing in the power of collaboration, I work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each child’s growth and success. I take a warm, empathetic approach to therapy, helping children not only overcome obstacles but also discover their strengths.
