About the event
Run by Teresa Wilcox, Art Psychotherapist (Q), RECE, BA Come join us as we provide the littlest of learners the foundations of emotional literacy through art and play. Each week, there will be a variety of activities to normalize and name different emotions. Through out this 6 week series, children will learn to identify different feelings in others as well as themselves.
Each week, parents will have the opportunity to learn alongside their child. Parents will be provided with practical tools and strategies on how to implement emotional literacy into the home. Parents will walk away with a better understanding of their child’s big emotions and gain confidence in managing these emotions.
What is emotional literacy?
Emotional literacy is the ability to understand, express and regulate ones emotions.
